Northern Virginia Sailing School is proud to be affiliated with the following sailing organizations:

Northern Virginia Sailing is now associated with Quantico Yacht Club (QYC). QYC participates in Racing such as the Governor’s cup, Leukemia cup, Masters of the Potomac, amongst other club races. They are always looking for crew if you do not own a boat, and if you do, you are welcome to join the regattas. Additionally QYC has social events, such as dock crawls, sail to nowhere, and long and short cruises. It is a lot of fun and you  can belong to the Quantico Yacht club as an associate member for annual dues without a boat. You get all the benefits of the club. Northern Virginia Sailing School competes with some of their boats in QYC regattas. Meetings are held the second Friday of each month starting at 7:30pm at QYC on Quantico Marine base, down by the marina.

We are fully endorsed by the American Sailing Association and offer certifications from ASA 101 to 104.  Endorsement requires meeting strict sailing school standards and being in good standing.  We are the only certified sailing facility with these advances certifications for the ASA based solely in Northern Virginia.
